Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and injury recovery. Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and relevant medical information in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and ongoing education to continually enhance your skills. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills. Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities such as physiologically-based treatments. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or clinical setting is highly desirable.
