Job Description

Position Summary ENT Specialists of Alaska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and providers to deliver high-quality patient care while supporting efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities Room patients and perform intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs, medical histories, medication reconciliation, and documenting patient concerns. Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments. Assist providers with in-office procedures and clinical tasks. Clean, stock, and prepare examination rooms and clinical equipment. Coordinate patient care, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication. Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical clinic or specialty practice preferred but not required. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures. Ability to accurately document patient information and maintain detailed records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude. $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
