Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical settings.Responsibilities:
- Perform medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update patient information accurately
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Provide patient education on various health topics and instructions for medications or treatments
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with coding procedures and medical terminology
