We are looking for a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will help support the daily operations of the clinic and assist providers and nursing staff with patient care, communication, and organization. This is a hands-on position in a busy environment that requires strong multitasking skills, professionalism, and teamwork. Position Details Full-time position Scheduled 35-40 hours per week
Clinic Hours:
Monday-Friday:
8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Clock in by 8:15 AM Must expect to remain in clinic until approximately 6:00
PM Saturdays:
8:30 AM - 2:00 PM Clock in by 8:15 AM Must expect to remain in clinic until approximately 2:30 PM Schedule will vary week to week; there is not a fixed weekly schedule, some shifts will be half days. Must be available to work a set every-other-Saturday rotation Responsibilities Triage patients, including obtaining vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit Assist providers during examinations and procedures Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Administer medications orally and by intramuscular injection Perform blood draws, nasal and throat swabs, EKGs, ear lavages, and basic wound care Answer and return patient phone calls Communicate with pharmacies, hospitals, and other medical offices Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred Experience with blood draws, injections, swabs, and basic clinical procedures preferred Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, bloodborne pathogen safety, and medical office procedures Strong time management and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records/patient management software Medical Assistant certification or degree preferred We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well with others, and genuinely cares about providing great patient care in a team-focused environment.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
