Certified Medical Assistant HAPPI Health - 1.7 Huntsville, AL Job Details Full-time $15.00 - $24.41 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Medical office experience BLS Certification Overseeing health insurance pre-authorization Full Job Description Responsibilities Perform patient intake including vital signs and health histories Document visits accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Assist providers during exams and procedures Administer PO and IM medications Perform venipuncture for pediatric and adult patients Conduct rapid point-of-care lab testing Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Support daily clinic operations and patient flow Requirements ? Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) — to be obtained within 90 days of hire ? BLS Certification — Required ? 1-3 years medical office experience Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Athena EMR experience a plus Prior authorization experience Skills Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic Team-oriented with a positive attitude Commitment to caring for diverse and underserved populations Join a Mission-Driven Healthcare Team!
