Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting both clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and the ability to work effectively with a team. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for their appointments by ensuring they are comfortable and informed. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes. Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patient responses. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with medical-surgical procedures. Educate patients on dermatology care, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and coding practices. Experience in outpatient care settings is preferred; familiarity with trauma center operations is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. A compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
