Tuscaloosa, AL Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Qualifications Medical assisting Full Job Description Assist with the preparation of reports and data collection for quality improvement initiatives. Run weekly reports and validation of data as needed, complete audits and other reports. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized quality outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care plans, progress notes and follow-up actions. Ensure patients receive appropriate follow-up care, including medication management, therapy, and specialist referrals. Assist with clinical duties as needed. Perform outreach calls to patients. Completion of a Medical Assistant program accredited by an appropriate accrediting body. Certified through the National Healthcare Association or American Association of Medical Assistants or other nationally recognized organizations is preferred. Proven working experience as a medical assistant required. Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
