Position Summary The role of the Medical Assistant reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the nurse and front office with day-to-day duties. Essential Job Responsibilities Obtain patient vitals and input data into the electronic medical records system Perform any necessary CLIA-waive tests Clean room after patient use Ensure exam rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies Appropriately process soiled instruments Assist front desk with daily operations, as needed
Qualifications Education:
High School diploma or
GED Licensure and Certifications:
CPR, required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a previous medical assistant role, preferred.
Work Environment :
This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 pounds. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
