Summary We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to care for patients in the comfort of their home or assisted living facility. Travel will be throughout the Greater Hot Springs area with your home office located at 120 Adcock Road. You will travel with and work under the supervision of a clinical provider. Responsibilities Record a patient's medical history accurately Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc. Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts. Administer injections, prescribed medications, and assist with other basic medical care tasks. Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions Requirements Proven experience as MA or similar role Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations Excellent knowledge of medical terminology Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry Strong communication and organizational skills

• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• High school diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirement:
