Sonora Quest Laboratories, a premier diagnostic services provider and a joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Lab Assistant to join our team. Located in Arizona, we are committed to delivering the highest level of service and accuracy in laboratory testing. The ideal candidate will support the processing and handling of various clinical tests and specimens, operating under rigorous standards to help healthcare providers deliver better patient outcomes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to laboratory protocols, and a commitment to upholding the quality and confidentiality of sensitive patient information. Responsibilities Prepare and process laboratory specimens for analysis and testing. Spin samples, pour urine tubes, and create aliquots of samples for testing. Enter patient information and test orders into the laboratory information system. Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Stock supplies and manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary materials. Follow all laboratory procedures and protocols with acute attention to detail. Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of test results. Required Skills Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and databases. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain strict protocols. Good manual dexterity for handling small and delicate lab equipment. Effective communication skills, for both technical data and patient information.
