Job Description
Summary:
The Medical Assistant supports nephrology providers by assisting with patient care, clinical workflows, and administrative tasks in a nephrology practice.Key Responsibilities:
Room patients, obtain vitals, and document medical histories Assist providers with exams and procedures Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen handling as applicable Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR Provide patient education as directedQualifications:
Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience Prior clinical experience preferred (nephrology a plus) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environmentSchedule/Benefits:
