Join Our Team! We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and people-oriented Medical Assistant to join our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is just beginning their career in healthcare or has limited medical office experience and is eager to learn. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. What You'll Do Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit Room patients and obtain/record vital signs Verify and update patient medical history and information Prepare examination and procedure rooms Ensure rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for procedures Turn over rooms between patients Clean and sterilize medical equipment according to practice procedures Assist with basic clinical and patient-care tasks Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties Maintain an organized and safe clinical environment Enter and update information in the EMR Work closely with physicians and other members of the practice team What We're Looking For Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages Dependable and willing to learn Detail-oriented and organized Able to work well independently and as part of a team Comfortable in a fast-paced medical office environment Previous medical assistant or clinical experience is helpful, but not required EMR experience is a plus Why Join Us?
