PRN Medical Assistant Front and Back Office

• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a dedicated Front and Back office Medical Assistant to join our pulmonary and sleep team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. The ability to work in a team and be a self starter.
• Back office

Duties:

• Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, spirometry, six minute walks, alpha one testing, home sleep study downloads, DME orders, Provide patient education and support on treatment plans and medications.
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
• Assist in managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Front Office Duties
• Greet patients, update patient demographics and insurance, collect copay and previous balance, answer phones, registering, scheduling and confirming appointment appointments, check out orders

• Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
• Strong knowledge and experience in pulmonary and sleep medicine. Ability to provide medical administrative support efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
