The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient service, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position requires proficiency in various medical administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and documentation review, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently. Handle medical collections and insurance verification processes. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review documentation for completeness and accuracy. Assist with medical billing and coding using CPT and ICD-10 coding systems. Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including clerical tasks and front desk duties. Communicate effectively with patients regarding care plans and services offered. Ensure the office environment is organized and welcoming for patients. Handle phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Skills Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems. Experience with medical collection processes and insurance verification. Familiarity with EHR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (10 key typing). Bilingual abilities are desirable to assist diverse patient populations. Previous clinic or hospital experience preferred, along with a solid background in customer service. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and documentation tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple priorities effectively. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
