Job Description
The Pain Center of Arizona Tucson Clinic is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented team member to support a busy interventional pain practice. In this role, you will help create a positive patient experience while assisting the clinical team with daily operations, patient flow, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet patients and help ensure a welcoming, efficient clinical experience Prepare exam rooms and assist with room turnover between patients Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and medication information as directed Support providers with clinical and procedural tasks within scope of practice Assist with patient education, instructions, and follow-up coordination Manage telephone calls, messages, scheduling support, and patient communication Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Coordinate supplies, equipment, and inventory needs for daily clinic operations Follow all infection control, safety, and privacy procedures Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other team members Qualifications Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment Comfort working with electronic medical records and basic computer systems Understanding of medical terminology and patient care workflows Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and patient confidentiality Certification or diploma from an accredited medical assistant program preferred Preferred Experience Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, anesthesia, or another specialty practice Familiarity with procedure-based clinical environments Experience supporting patient scheduling and follow-up coordination What We Offer A supportive and team-oriented workplace Opportunities to contribute to meaningful patient care Hands-on experience in a specialized clinical setting Competitive compensation and benefits, based on experience and qualifications If you are motivated by patient care, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply.
