This role is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare and clinical trials, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in patient care, protocol compliance, and research documentation under the guidance of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs). Key Responsibilities Assist with patient visits by performing vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection, as trained and certified. Prepare for protocol-specific visits, including materials, lab kits, and source documentation. Participate in informed consent discussions and provide patient education. Ensure timely and accurate completion of data entry, query resolution, and documentation. Process, label, and ship lab specimens in accordance with protocol requirements. Maintain and organize patient charts, regulatory files, and study logs. Participate in recruitment activities including chart reviews, telephone screenings, and outreach. Support CRCs with administrative tasks such as scheduling, document filing, and visit preparation. Required Qualifications Demonstrated, confident experience in venipuncture and blood specimen collection. You must be comfortable drawing multiple large tubes per patient. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
