Hour Pay Rate Range :

$25- $28/HR on W2 The role involves preparing patients for examinations and procedures, obtaining vital signs, documenting patient information in Epic, assisting with orthopedic procedures, collecting specimens, and coordinating patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in an outpatient medical setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and orthopedic procedures. Room patients and obtain vital signs, including height, weight, and pulse oximetry. Record and update patient medical histories, medications, and allergies. Assist with casting, dressing changes, wound care, and suture removal. Administer intramuscular injections and immunizations as authorized and within the scope of practice. Perform venipuncture and collect specimens, including urine samples, clean-catch specimens, and wound specimens. Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens for processing. Provide patient follow-up calls and assist with routine patient care coordination. Perform telephone triage and communicate patient concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider. Assist with pharmacy calls and patient medication refill requests. HL01

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:

License/Certification:

BLS Certification (Required) Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens (AHA) (Required)
