Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Back Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential medical administrative support while ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and various clinical procedures. The Bilingual Back Office Medical Assistant will work closely with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our practice. Duties Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history. Provide support in outpatient settings Administer medications and assist with basic life support as needed Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management Conduct ICD coding for proper billing and insurance processing Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in clinical tasks Support various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, and emergency medicine Insurance HMO/PPO Obtaining medical records from portals Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in the clinic or hospital setting Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Experience Candidates should possess experience in a medical setting, demonstrating proficiency in: Hospital medicine and clinic experience Understanding of medical-surgical practices Strong background in patient service and effective communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional healthcare services while supporting the operational needs of a busy medical practice.
