We are looking for one part-time medical assistant. You must be able to work regularly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Medical Assistant (MA) Certification At least two years of medical office experience with patient interaction required. Genuine interest in medical aesthetics and skincare. Enthusiastic about learning and trying new things. Must be comfortable drawing blood under nurse supervision. Ability to type on a computer using correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Willingness to fix errors. Knows the difference between exceptional customer service and average customer service, and always aspires to be exceptional. Comfortable speaking with patients about procedures and products on the phone and in person. Willingness to learn new software systems. Willingness to work as part of a team. Detail-oriented. Ability to maintain effective and organized work systems to ensure timely patient care. Likes to make suggestions, take initiative, and look for ways to improve office systems. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities The Aesthetics Medical Assistant assists the Aesthetic providers with in-office patient care. Assist the lead MA with preparing treatment rooms for patients, assisting during treatments, and cleaning them as needed. Work side-by-side with the receptionist. This includes answering phones, taking messages, responding over text, scheduling appointments, greeting guests, accepting payment, and checking patients in and out. Provide pre- and post-care instructions to patients. Take accurate pre- and post-photos. Label and save to patient record. Apply numbing medicine as needed. Draw and process blood and give IM injections. Attend required staff meetings and educational training as requested. Always maintain confidentiality. Responsible for the care, maintenance, and stocking of treatment rooms and cabinets. Assist with inventory. This includes conducting physical counts, notifying management when inventory is low, and organizing and restocking products and medical supplies. Help to keep the common areas tidy and clean. Take out the garbage daily. Assist with administrative tasks when time allows. Other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
