Experience in a medical setting required. We are a private office, looking for an experienced self-motivated, attention and detail-oriented, warm and positive individual with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Must be a quick learner with great initiative, professionalism and enthusiasm for aesthetics. For the right individual, this is an opportunity to gain a full insight into the practice of plastic surgery and work in a multifaceted role. Opportunity to grow for the right candidate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Patient communications (phone, e-mail, written) Answering phones, screening calls to direct as appropriate and acting as first point of contact Ensuring incoming requests are dealt with timely (email, phone, fax) Appointment scheduling and confirmation Checking patients in and out and ensuring intake data is complete and accurate Maintaining patients charts electronically on our EHR Maintaining the front office and back office inventory Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of aesthetic/surgical services and practices Medical billing, obtaining authorizations for procedures Scheduling surgeries Assisting the doctor with treatments/procedures/scribing as needed Sterilization of equipment The ideal candidate is comfortable and proactive with advocating for the practice via social media and word of mouth to build office reputation and clientele Keeping patient information confidential and adhering to HIPAA guidelines The Candidate must possess the following skills: Well-organized, self-motivated, positive, team player with exceptional attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate clearly through all modes of communication) Excellent computer skills (use of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, EMR systems such as Nextech or DrChrono, other Web-based applications) Medical terminology
