We are looking for an experienced, confident, highly organized Medical Assistant who combines strong clinical skills with exceptional patient communication and customer service. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to perform routine MA duties. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, understands the importance of the patient experience, communicates confidently with patients, and helps keep the clinic operating efficiently from the moment a patient contacts us through their ongoing treatment. The ideal candidate is outgoing, polished, dependable, comfortable speaking with patients about our services, and able to work independently without requiring constant supervision. Our goal is to build a strong team and systems that allow the clinic to operate efficiently while providing every patient with a high level of service and attention.

West Hollywood, California Primary ResponsibilitiesClinical & Back Office Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection confidently and efficiently Prepare, label, process, and properly handle laboratory specimens Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other required clinical information Prepare examination and treatment rooms Assist physicians, PAs, nurses, and other providers during patient visits and procedures Administer injections as directed by a licensed provider and within applicable scope of practice Educate patients regarding medications, self-injections, treatment instructions, and follow-up requirements as directed by the medical provider Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the clinic's EHR/EMR Assist with medication and medical supply inventory Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and treatment records Follow all applicable HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, laboratory, and patient-safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, professional clinical environment Patient Experience & Front Office Support Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming, high-quality experience Answer incoming patient calls and messages promptly Schedule and confirm consultations, laboratory appointments, follow-up visits, and treatments Assist with patient check-in and check-out Explain clinic services, programs, pricing, and general membership options accurately within the employee's role Communicate clearly with prospective and existing patients regarding next steps Follow up with patients regarding appointments, labs, treatment coordination, and other administrative needs Help reduce missed appointments through proactive confirmation and communication Maintain professional and timely communication with patients by phone, text, and electronic messaging Clinic Operations & Growth This position is an important part of the overall success of the clinic. The Medical Assistant should be comfortable supporting the patient journey from initial consultation through ongoing treatment and membership.Responsibilities may include:
Helping ensure new patients receive prompt and professional follow-up Supporting conversion of scheduled consultations into completed appointments Identifying patients who require follow-up and making sure they do not fall through the cracks Supporting patient retention through excellent service and communication Coordinating with the front desk, providers, management, and lead-management personnel Keeping patient workflow organized throughout the day Identifying operational problems and bringing solutions to management Helping maintain a professional, efficient, and upscale clinic environment Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities rather than waiting to be directed on every task Clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prescribing remain exclusively with appropriately licensed medical providers. Required Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience Strong venipuncture/phlebotomy skills Experience handling and processing laboratory specimens Experience with both front-office and back-office medical operations Comfortable administering injections when appropriately ordered and supervised Strong computer skills and experience with EHR/EMR systems Excellent verbal and written communication Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently Ability to multitask in a growing, fast-paced practice Professional appearance and demeanor Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Men's health Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) Hormone optimization Medical weight management Sexual wellness Peptide or longevity-focused therapies Wellness or concierge medicine Cash-pay or membership-based medical practices Patient sales, consultation conversion, or membership-based healthcare Laboratory operations Bilingual English/Spanish The Personality We Are Looking For Clinical skills are important, but personality and attitude are equally important for this position.
