Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our small office team. We need a Monday assistant who is also available for filling in on Tues-Thurs when staff is on vacation(which is often). As aCertified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting the Doctor in caring for our patients.Duties:
- Scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, answering phones, making referral's to specialty offices, ordering tests(xrays, mri's, etc.), administering shots.
- Assist healthcare provider with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality Experience only apply.
