Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Medical Assistant Combo.

$23-24 per hour

Hours:

Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts

FRONT OFFICE

Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization by efficiently scheduling appointments. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by verifying patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to the appointment; preparing necessary documents Maintain optimum patient confidentiality and safety.

BACK OFFICE

Administer injections and draw blood. Room patients, take and record vital signs, and prepare them for provider exams. Document patient medical histories, chief complaints, and intake notes in the EMR. Assist providers with in-office procedures. Administer medications and immunizations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (e.g., blood, urine, swabs) Ensure equipment is sanitized and functioning properly. Coordinate follow-up care, including lab results, specialist referrals, and patient instructions. Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bilingual Spanish preferred. At least 2 years experience as an MA. Must be able to perform injections and draw blood. Experience with Family Practice specialty. MA Certified CPR Certified DH 2.4 ProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
