Medical Assistant

Looking for a Medical Assistant with 1-2yr experience. As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors, providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Greeting patients Answering phone calls Scheduling appointments Verifying insurance information Checking patients in and out Collecting payments Maintaining patient records Ensuring the overall smooth operation of the front office area Essentially acting as the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic Skills Bilingual- Spanish and English preferred Proven working experience as a medical assistant-Front office Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills
