Consider joining our fast-growing team to take your career to the next level! EVVS is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our Fullerton office. Job Duties Provide overall support for Physicians and office operations Experience working in a sterile environment Prepares patients for examination and treatment Takes patient histories and vital signs Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments Screens telephone calls for referral to physician Prepares equipment and supplies to assist medical provider in the treatment, examination, and testing of patients Ensures patient is appropriately prepared for care encounter, anticipates patients/providers needs Receives documents, prioritizes and responds to incoming calls as appropriate Efficient use of EMR system Assists physician in office procedures Job Requirements
EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is required Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred
