J ob S u mma r y Prepare patients for provider exam, take vital signs, record patient history and assist in office procedures. Administer treatment, medications and injections as ordered. Conducts pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment with recent test results and correspondence. Call patient regarding test results as instructed by provider. Minimum Education Requirement :
High school diploma or GED required or 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of High School Diploma. Completion of Medical Assistant Program required. b.
Minimum Experience Requirement :
Three to five years in a healthcare setting is preferred. Computer skills required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. c.
Minimum License Requirement :
BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer. Completion of annual Medical Assistant Competency training. Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
Pay Range:
$23.00
