Pay:

$22.97-$27.00 per hour

$2,000 A confidential healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment in the greater San Diego area. This is a full-time opportunity with no PRN scheduling. Responsibilities Welcome patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical information Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient visits Perform blood draws, injections, skin tests, and other authorized clinical procedures Process referrals and prior authorizations Maintain accurate electronic health records Provide administrative and clinical support while protecting patient confidentiality Follow established infection-control, safety, and quality standards Minimum Qualifications At least one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience within the past two years Current Certified Medical Assistant credential or registration through an accepted organization, including AAMA, AMT, or NHA Graduation from a qualifying Medical Assistant training program accredited by one of the following: Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) Qualifying formal medical-services training completed through the United States Armed Forces may also be accepted Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification Ability to complete the required background and security screening A Medical Assistant program completion certificate alone does not satisfy the certification requirement. Applicants must also possess a current CMA certification or registration from an accepted credentialing organization.
