Greenbrae Dermatology | Greenbrae, CA Full-Time | Monday-Friday About Us Greenbrae Dermatology is a physician-owned practice dedicated to providing exceptional medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care. Our team is passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences while fostering a collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work environment. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant with a passion for both medical dermatology and aesthetics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for medical and cosmetic appointments. Accurately obtain and document patient histories, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the EMR. Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with: Skin biopsies Excisions Cosmetic injections Laser procedures and other aesthetic treatments Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile technique. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, post-procedure care, and skincare products. Process pathology specimens and maintain accurate documentation. Clean, stock, and organize exam and procedure rooms. Manage prescription requests, patient messages, and documentation as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience. Qualifications Required Dermatology experience strongly preferred. Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred). Excellent computer and EMR skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and excellent bedside manner. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience with cosmetic dermatology. Experience assisting with lasers, Botox, fillers, PRP, and other aesthetic procedures. Experience with ModMed/EMA or similar dermatology EMR.
