This is an immediate temporary opportunity created to support our clinical team during a staff member's family leave. While initially expected to last 30-60 days, there is potential for the role to transition into a permanent position based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, patient-focused Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and can quickly integrate into an established team. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical Support Room patients and prepare them for examination and treatment. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and chief complaints. Assist the Dermatologist with examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies for patient visits. Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure rooms are stocked and ready between patients. Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times. Administrative Support Greet patients professionally and provide exceptional customer service. Assist with patient check-in/check-out as needed. Schedule appointments and manage patient communications. Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries. Process and maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation. Inventory & Clinic Operations Monitor and replenish clinical supplies and equipment. Assist with inventory management and ordering needs. Support daily clinic operations to ensure an efficient patient experience. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required. Dermatology experience strongly preferred but not required. Experience in a hospital, specialty practice, urgent care, or high-volume medical setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and EMR systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
