The facility is a 190-bed hospital offering comprehensive healthcare services, including medical offices, home care, cancer care, and a wide range of specialty services throughout Lodi and the surrounding communities. Position Summary We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide routine clinical and technical support services under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers. The Medical Assistant will support patient care, clinical room preparation, vital signs, venipuncture, and diagnostic screening activities. Key Responsibilities Set up and prepare exam rooms for patient visits. Check in patients and assist with clinic flow. Obtain and document patient vital signs. Report significant findings and pertinent patient observations to the healthcare provider. Perform venipunctures as ordered. Perform audiometry and vision testing . Maintain patient recall systems and continuity-of-care logs for laboratory tests, referrals, and transfers. Support providers and clinical staff with routine patient care activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma/GED or equivalent — Required CMA, RMA, or equivalent combination of licensure and experience — Preferred BLS Healthcare Provider certification — Required Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certificate — Preferred Phlebotomy certificate — Preferred Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
