Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant (MA

Back Office is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician, surgeon, or other licensed health professional.

The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications:

Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required) Licenses and Certifications BLS

Basic Life Support
AHA•American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required) Work Experience Minimum six (6) months Working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant (preferred) Skills and Abilities Bilingual Skills Preferred.
