We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to medical professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility. This is a full-time position located in a private practice setting.
  • Perform medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance claims
  • Assist with medication administration, including injections and inhalation treatments
  • Conduct basic life support procedures in emergency situations
  • Utilize knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately perform tasks such as taking vital signs and recording patient information
  • Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their concerns and answering their questions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
  • Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff members
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and electronic health record management
