Medical Assistant - Family Practice (Multi-Specialty Clinic)

Full-Time About Us We are a busy, multi-specialty family practice with three locations serving patients of all ages. Our team of experienced, compassionate providers is dedicated to delivering high-quality care across a wide range of services. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Job Description As a Medical Assistant, you will perform both front and back office responsibilities, depending on the clinic's needs. Duties include (but are not limited to): Answering phone calls, emails, and text messages Patient intake: updating history, allergies, medication lists, vitals, etc. Administering oral medications, injections, and vaccines Occasional blood draws / phlebotomy Performing EKGs and point-of-care tests (UA, bHCG, Hemoglobin, etc.) Assisting with occasional skin allergy testing Fitting patients for DME (durable medical equipment) and braces Scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating referrals Processing prior authorizations for medications Handling patient paperwork requests Ideal Candidate Qualities Detail-oriented and organized Technologically savvy (EHR systems, office software, equipment) Typing speed of 50+ WPM Compassionate with excellent bedside manner Self-motivated, diligent, and reliable Positive attitude with integrity and humility Qualifications High school diploma or higher Certified Medical Assistant (national certification required) Minimum 3 years of experience in urgent care and/or family medicine BLS certification (preferred) Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off CME allowance Employee discounts Travel reimbursement Free parking On-the-job training Medical Specialties We Cover Primary Care Pediatrics Internal Medicine Dermatology Urgent Care Radiology Sports Medicine Work Schedule 8 Monday to Friday Occasional weekends as needed Education & Experience Associate degree (preferred) 3 years of medical assisting experience (preferred) We look forward to meeting a compassionate professional who is ready to grow with our team!
