This energetic position offers the opportunity to support physicians and patients alike by providing comprehensive clinical and administrative assistance. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate patient documentation, and high-quality care delivery. Duties Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting detailed medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit Support physicians during urological procedures by preparing necessary instruments and maintaining sterile environments Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient encounters, treatment plans, and ICD coding for diagnoses Administer medications as directed by physicians, adhering to safety protocols and medication administration guidelines Conduct basic diagnostic tasks or assisting with ultrasound procedures when applicable Maintain thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to urology to support accurate patient assessments Assist with specimen collection, lab sample handling, and preparation for laboratory analysis Experience Prior experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of Urology enhances your versatility in this role Experience supporting procedures in outpatient setting Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Proven ability to utilize EHR systems effectively for documentation and coding purposes Strong understanding of ICD coding standards and medication administration protocols ensures compliance and accuracy This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to patient health outcomes while developing your expertise across diverse medical disciplines.
