Patients range in age from newborn to over 100. Medical Assistant Responsibilities Fluent Bilingual Spanish and English Speaker is a must Ability to work accurately and effectively Multi-Tasker Adaptable to fast-paced environments Record Vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate and temperature Restock exam rooms Autoclaving Excellent telephone skills, ability to work with multi-line phones and great office etiquette Knowledgeable of medical terminology Perform ancillary tests (e.g, EKG's, urinalysis, INR testing, HgbA1c) Add medical history to the EHR system Knowledge of Primary Medical practice care Administer vaccines and document Provide patients with provider test results and messages Set up procedures and assist providers in the exam rooms Work up patients in a timely manner and obtain a clear and detailed chief complaint.
