Previous experience in a medical office is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. You will get great hands-on experience with patients and work very closely with the doctor, learning about a variety of diseases and treatments. As part of our well-rounded team you will gain experience with both front and back office duties, helping the doctor with procedures, checking patients' vision and eye pressure, and taking images of the retina, as well as scheduling patients, handling a multi-line phone system and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits. College graduates are encouraged to apply, as well as those seeking experience and exposure to the medical field to later become nurses, physician assistants, or doctors. This a great opportunity for anybody looking to gain patient care experience for PA schools, medical schools, and nursing schools!
