Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish)

Job Summary All American Community Health Center is a nonprofit community clinic opening in Pomona, CA. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. The Medical Assistant will support patient care by rooming patients, taking vital signs, collecting patient information, assisting providers, documenting in the EHR/EMR system, and helping the clinic run smoothly throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient-focused, organized, and excited to grow with a new community clinic serving local families. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with strong clinic experience, bilingual English/Spanish skills, EHR familiarity, and insurance or Medi-Cal experience may be considered for higher pay. Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight Collect and update patient medical history and reason for visit Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed Document patient information accurately in the EHR/EMR system Support patient intake, forms, referrals, and follow-up instructions Help maintain clean and organized exam rooms Prepare and restock supplies in exam rooms Communicate with patients in English and Spanish Follow HIPAA privacy and confidentiality guidelines Support front desk or administrative tasks when needed Work as part of a team to provide a positive patient experience Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish required Medical Assistant experience preferred Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred BLS/CPR certification preferred Experience in a clinic, primary care office, or community health setting is a plus Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Able to multitask in a busy clinic environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude Why Join Us Mission-driven work serving the local community Supportive and team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow as the clinic expands Meaningful role helping patients access care Be part of a new nonprofit clinic from the beginning Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
