You should be able to multitask, type at least 25-30 wpm and have great verbal communication. The duties will consist of triaging patients and assisting the provider in procedures, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and the ability to be cross-trained in other tasks. You must have a High School diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification, and Current CPR certification. High school or equivalent
REQUIRED
May need to travel between offices in Corona, Riverside, and Moreno Valley Responsibilities Preparing patients for examination by triaging and accurately recording patient's information and history Assist the providers with exams and procedures Communicate with patient, staff, and providers in a professional manner Answering busy multi-telephone lines and Scheduling appointments Clean, sanitizes and prepare medical instruments daily Update and verify patient chart & history as needed Administer medication and immunizations, as supervised by the physician, according to the right time, drug, dose, and route Order supplies and material as needed Notify the Lead of any issues that may arise Performs additional duties as assigned Preferred Skills Self-motivated Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills
