Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front-office administrative support with clinical assistance, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in supporting clinical staff with various medical tasks. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect and document vital signs, medical histories, and current medications accurately Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and performing basic clinical assessments Assist healthcare providers with procedures Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, confirming upcoming visits, and coordinating follow-up care Maintain organized medical records, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, and update ICD coding for diagnoses Qualifications Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred Phlebotomy Certificate through ASPT preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and ICD coding standards Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions such as intake and insurance processing Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse populations Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient lives while advancing your career in a supportive and energetic environment!

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
