The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, medical procedures, and administrative support within diverse clinical settings. The Medical Assistant will be instrumental in supporting physicians and healthcare providers by managing clinical tasks, facilitating patient interactions, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to support diagnostic processes. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, wound care, and basic life support when necessary. Operate and maintain EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently. Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment in compliance with health regulations. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns promptly and fostering a welcoming environment for diverse populations Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical environments such as hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics. Knowledge of medical terminology Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers, hospital settings, or emergency medicine environments is preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions and compassionate patient interactions across diverse populations.
