Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team of two providers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within a fast-paced internal medicine clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Perform routine clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Manage administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, coordinating referrals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment to adhere to health regulations. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
