Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using electronic health records (EHR) systems Manage appointment schedules efficiently, coordinating with providers to optimize patient flow Perform data entry accurately, including updating patient records and insurance information Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting during patient examinations Handle phone communication professionally, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing follow-up information Assist with insurance third-party billing processes and revenue cycle management to ensure timely payments Maintain internal communication with team members to coordinate daily operations and address any issues promptly Skills Proven administrative experience within healthcare environments with knowledge of health insurance processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes Strong understanding of managed care policies and health insurance terminology Excellent schedule management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Exceptional internal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with medical staff and patients Accurate data entry skills combined with fast typing abilities for efficient record keeping Outstanding customer service skills to create a positive experience for patients and visitors Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and medical terminology Effective phone communication skills for scheduling, follow-up calls, and client interaction Knowledge of insurance third-party billing procedures and revenue cycle management practices Writing skills necessary for documentation, reports, and correspondence Embark on a rewarding career journey where your contributions directly enhance patient experiences while developing essential healthcare expertise.
