At least 1 year experience in OB/GYN or family practice required. Familiarity with insurances and authorizations helpful. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for provider use. Assist physician during examinations and procedures. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency. Perform basic laboratory procedures like specimen collection and processing while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards and protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Experience working in OB/GYN or family practice medical office. Strong understanding of physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medical assisting procedures.
