Job Description

Alta Vista Dermatology is growing and has an opportunity at its Castle Rock office to join the clinical team full time. Please note that occasional work at the Highlands Ranch location may be required.

This position involves delivering general, cosmetic, and surgical Dermatology patient care, and you will be expected to provide supportive duties to assist medical providers in the examination and treatment of patients. This is full time position with immediate availability in our clinic that runs Monday through Friday and may include one Saturday a month. Essential Duties of the
Position:
Routine patient vitals and charting (EMR on iPads). Prepare for skin checks, biopsies, surgical excisions, injections and cosmetic procedures. Perform pathology and lab result calls, along with medication authorizations. Administering photodynamic light therapy and excimer treatments. Perform suture removal and wound checks. Track acne and biologic medication patients and submitting laboratory requisitions. Provide quality patient care, plus pre and post-surgical information and follow-up.
Other Responsibilities:
Prepare and follow patient specimens with a high level of accuracy. Be well-versed in sun screen, cosmetics, aesthetic and laser procedures available in office. Stock exam rooms, prepare instruments and provide patient assistance.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
LPN, MA or equivalent required Additional compensation may be provided for a candidate who has relevant Lead clinical experience. Prefer experience in dermatology, but willing to train.

Alta Vista Dermatology is the largest dermatology and cosmetic provider just south of Denver with nine wonderful medical providers serving a large patient volume in Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock and the surrounding communities.
