CMA/RMA Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assisting
- Current Certified or Registered MA credential from a national organization (AMT, NCCT, AAMA, etc.)
- Current CPR/BLS Preferred Qualifications for the CMA/RMA position are:
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinic setting
- An Associate's in Medical Assisting
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish
- Epic EMR experience
- Previous GI experience Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, or sit for extended periods of time.
Physical demands:
percentage of time spent in each activity (estimate) Walking 20%- assisting patients, delivering information personally to other departments, collaborating with other department employees. Sitting 80%
