About OnPoint Medical Group OnPoint Medical Group is a physician-led network of primary and urgent care providers focused on improving access to high-quality, affordable healthcare across Colorado. Our Circle of Care philosophy connects physicians, specialists, labs, nurses, and medical records into one coordinated system so patients receive seamless care close to home. As a Medical Assistant , you will support providers and ensure patients receive excellent care during their visit.
Key responsibilities include:
Room patients and perform patient intake Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories Update patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Assist providers during exams and procedures Perform point-of-care testing within scope of certification Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies Clean and disinfect treatment rooms after visits Manage provider voicemail and EMR inbox messages Support pre-visit planning and patient flow Assist front desk with check-in, scheduling, and phones as needed Follow HIPAA guidelines and clinical protocols Assist with in-office procedures Contact Hospitals and gather required documentation when needed Required High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, EMT, LPN) or equivalent experience Current BLS certification Strong computer skills Some Medical Assistant experience Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) 1-3 years of clinical experience Experience with Athenahealth EMR Experience in OBGYN, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: Health insurance options for you and your dependents Dental and Vision coverage Company-paid Life Insurance Short- and Long-Term Disability options AFLAC plans Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with 4% company match (eligible after 6 months)
Paid Time Off Pay Range:
$21 - $27 per hour The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
