Full Job Description Medical Assistant Job Description Summary:
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in an adult primary care office.
Work Schedule:
Monday -Friday 8 A.M. - 5P.M. with lunch break from 12-1 P.M.
Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of the provider in providing patient care Perform clinical skills to include patient intake, vital signs, EKG, and spirometry in addition to specimen collection. Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including inventory, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Responsible for cleaning clinic examination/patient areas and stocking rooms. Communicate with other staff/outside facilities and document patient concerns in the EHR. Work within scope of their assigned duties in a friendly and moderately paced small family practice setting.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED Registered or Certified Medical Assistant required within 60 days of hire.
Minimum experience:
None required A positive attitude that goes well with our family-oriented practice.
The pay range:
$18.00 - $19.00 / hour . Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience. All employees begin with 2 weeks of annual paid time off in addition to an average of 7 days of paid holiday time off. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
