Job Description

Our Primary Care Clinic:
Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized health care provider, including but not limited to: taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with minor procedures, administering medications (as delegated), performing phlebotomy, and conducting point-of-care testing. Assist with front office duties, including patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and handling patient inquiries. Accurately document patient information, symptoms, and care provided in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure comprehensive medical record maintenance. Collaborate closely with primary care providers (Physicians, NPs, PAs) to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication surrounding patient care plans. Participate in patient education, explaining treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventive health measures. Attend/conduct in-service presentations and seminars to facilitate personal and professional growth, enhancing your skills within the primary care setting. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, upholding the organizational mission, and core values that are fundamental to our patient-centered approach.In Colorado Only:
Pay Ranges Begin at $20.00 for Non-Certified Medical Assistants and $21.25 for Certified Medical Assistants.Required Qualifications:
This position requires certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following recognized certifying bodies: American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA) American Medical Technologist (AMT) National Healthcare Association (NHA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)Hours:
