Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing both clinical and administrative support within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations in a medical environment, particularly in areas such as internal medicine and inpatient care. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in various settings. Perform vital sign checks and document patient histories accurately. Support patient care by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining medical supplies. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, processing insurance information, schedule referrel appointments.. Educate patients on medication administration and post-care instructions to promote recovery. Qualification Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred . Knowledge of medical terminology related to internal medicine and hospital settings is advantageous. Strong skills in patient care practices. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.
