OBJECTIVE
Greenwich Point Dermatology is a modern medical and cosmetic dermatology practice in the heart of downtown Greenwich, CT. We seek a certified medical assistant who is smart, pleasant, friendly, motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, flexible, good with computers and team-oriented. We are a growing practice and looking for someone who is excited to evolve with us.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all related reports, labs and information filed is available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment Prepare patient for exam Assist with minor surgical procedures Follow physician instructions regarding medications and specific tests Provide patient biopsy results under physician direction Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls Dermatology experience a must SKILLS Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Knowledge of
EHR, EMA
Modernizing Medicine preferred Ability to work independently Exceptional interpersonal skills Positive outlook and upbeat personality Excellent oral and written communication skills Superior organizational skills Detail-oriented, meticulous Ability to multi-task Use of computers and software programs
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent required Medical assistant certification required This position is part-time or full-time. We are willing to be flexible for the right candidate.
